Wild North Counseling Gender Policy
At Wild North Counseling, we are committed to creating a welcoming, respectful, and affirming environment for all participants, inclusive of all gender identities and expressions. We recognize that gender exists on a spectrum and that each individual’s identity is valid and important. All programming at Wild North Counseling is open to transgender, non-binary, and gender nonconforming youth. Participants are welcome to join the programs where they feel most affirmed.
We strive to cultivate spaces where young people can show up authentically, explore who they are, and be welcomed wholeheartedly. We believe that the outdoors should be a safe and empowering space for everyone, and we continuously evolve our practices in partnership with participants, families, and gender-diverse communities.
